Tutorial: Finding beautiful backgrounds for PC, Mac, Instagram or Presentations

We all love to see nice backgrounds in our devices.

Whether it's for our phone background, in order to impress our Instagram followers, or we want a beautiful image for our WhatsApp group.

Step 1: Using the Photo Search Engine

In order to start searching, you need to get to the search page.

You can find this page by clicking the "Find photos" button in the main menu.

After that, think of a word you would like to find a background for, like nature, textures etc.

Then, put that word on the text box, and hit search.

Step 2: Selecting your favorite background

At this point, you should be already viewing the photos for the word you have chosen to search.

Now all that's left is to scroll and choose the photo you love most. Image: Photo search results for the word sea

Step 3 - Download the background

So you have found a nice background and you want to save it in order to upload it to your Instagram Story, Whatsapp etc.

Simply click on the download button that should appear on hover(in a desktop device), or when you click on the image in a mobile device.

Tip: if you click on the photographer name or image, you will get to his or personal page, with all of the images he or she has uploaded.

You can then use the image for almost any use case, according to the Photoland license.

Bonus - Some tips and ideas for choosing of a subject

Our recommendation - ask yourselves what is the reason for which you are looking for an image ?

Is it meant for Instagram Stories, Phone background, Printable image or vision board ?

For example, if it is for your vision board and you love travel inspiration, you could search for beaches, tourism etc.

If it's for an iPhone background you may want textures or views from nature, beach, etc.

All depends on your personal taste, and we're sure you'd pick a great photo, for whichever use case it is.
